Juninho Magalhães received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Igor Luix came out and tried to block the shot, but Juninho Magalhães slotted it home off the left post making it 2-0 in the 15th minute. Klaes Bjørnsfort could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 19th minute of the match, but Igor Luix made a huge save. After 24 played minutes Club Atlético River Plate got a freekick which was hit by Paulo Indalecio. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Faustino Izel during the 29th minute. Igor Luix was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Club Atlético River Plate walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
