After a rather tough play, UlTrAeiA's Froilan Illart got a free kick in the 16th minute. Camilo Iraitz didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Prospero Remicio went, in the 21st minute, to the upper right corner, 1-1 was the resulting score. 35 minutes into the match, Florencia AFC's goal looked a bit too open when Raimundo Beila came free, but Camilo Iraitz reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 38th minute, Cayetano Franco left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Florencia AFC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-2. Florencia AFC's Emil Turcan got a good chance for a goal in the 44th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 46 minutes into the game, Florencia AFC's Cayetano Franco nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Julio Noe made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-3. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 1-3 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Raimundo Beila to make the kick off. A collision led to Florencia AFC getting a freekick after 51 minutes play. Nemesio Rivas hit a great ball. Julio Noe showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Cayetano Franco, who was totally free with the ball in the 54th minute. After 60 played minutes Florencia AFC got a freekick which was hit by Lucio Robredo. Arturo Santio hit a great freekick 89 minutes into the match. Aquilino Poncio took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 91st minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Camilo Iraitz. Florencia AFC's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. If Fernan Frechoso had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 94th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 96th minute, Florencia AFC's Fernan Frechoso dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 1-4. The Florencia AFC players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
