Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) The mood of the audience was pleasant when Zeledon Bernard made the kick off which started today's match. After 3 played minutes Racing FC got a freekick which was hit by Candido Nuñez. Fausto Garikoitz took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ovidio Licerio, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. With his leg Teodosio Ieltxu managed to avoid a goal in the 12thth minute, when Club Atletico Boca Junior's Emesto Iniesta fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. 13 minutes into the match, Ovidio Licerio had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Fausto Garikoitz. Club Atletico Boca Junior's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Ovidio Licerio was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-1. José Carlos Pinho received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 17th minute. Teodosio Ieltxu tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After some fancy dribbling in the 20th minute, Ovidio Licerio managed to get in a good position for a shot. Racing FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Ovidio Licerio was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Fausto Garikoitz breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. With his leg Teodosio Ieltxu managed to avoid a goal in the 25thth minute, when Club Atletico Boca Junior's José Carlos Pinho fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Teodosio Ieltxu made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from José Carlos Pinho in the 26th minute of play. Zeledon Bernard sent away a hard shot on goal in the 28th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 33 minutes into the match, Club Atletico Boca Junior's goal looked a bit too open when Ovidio Licerio came free, but Fausto Garikoitz reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After some fancy dribbling in the 44th minute, Emesto Iniesta managed to get in a good position for a shot. Club Atletico Boca Junior's supporters rose to their feet, but Emesto Iniesta was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Teodosio Ieltxu breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Zeledon Bernard sent away a hard shot on goal in the 47th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and José Carlos Pinho made a kick off. Emesto Iniesta scored 2-1 in the 52nd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Teodosio Ieltxu, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. The supporters of Club Atletico Boca Junior booed when Racing FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 55 match minutes in a wonderful position. Celestino Berasko didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 62nd minute, Racing FC's Zeledon Bernard dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 2-2. Zeledon Bernard recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 68th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After 70 minutes of play, Racing FC's Ovidio Licerio made it 2-3 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Fausto Garikoitz was left in no man's land by his defense there! A collision led to Racing FC getting a freekick after 74 minutes play. Celestino Berasko hit a great ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Emesto Iniesta in the 84th minute of play forced Racing FC's goalkeeper Teodosio Ieltxu to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The Club Atletico Boca Junior fans' excitement grew in the 85th match minute when Club Atletico Boca Junior's José Carlos Pinho looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 3-3 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. In the 95th minute of the match Donato Quilino shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Fausto Garikoitz showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. 96 minutes into the match, Club Atletico Boca Junior's goalkeeper Fausto Garikoitz had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Ovidio Licerio.
