After a defensive mix-up in Racing FC's zone, Octavio Herrera stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Teodosio Ieltxu came out of the goal and Octavio Herrera tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. If Octavio Herrera had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 9th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 14th minute Arsenal F. C. were awarded a corner. Marian Bara went to the cornerflag to take it. The corner led Arsenal F. C.'s Marian Bara to fire away a dangerous shot which Teodosio Ieltxu despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. 20 minutes into the match, Arsenal F. C.'s goal looked a bit too open when Ovidio Licerio came free, but Emanuel Irimia reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Ovidio Licerio received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 23rd minute. Emanuel Irimia tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The audience was convinced that Ovidio Licerio's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Emanuel Irimia was relentless in the 28th minute of the game. Emanuel Irimia took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Zeledon Bernard, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 37th minute of the match, Christian George got a very nice opportunity to score, but Teodosio Ieltxu was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. In the 39th match minute, Racing FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ovidio Licerio to maneuver through the defense. 40 minutes into the match, Arsenal F. C.'s Christian George sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Teodosio Ieltxu narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Zeledon Bernard sent away a hard shot on goal in the 41st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Teodosio Ieltxu took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Octavio Herrera, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 47 minutes into the game, one of Arsenal F. C.:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. In the 49th minute there was a penalty for Racing FC. Donato Quilino stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Emanuel Irimia. 1-1. The score stood at 1-1 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

After some careless play in the Racing FC defense, Christian George kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Teodosio Ieltxu. The Racing FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Teodosio Ieltxu should have stopped the shot. Teodosio Ieltxu showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Christian George in the 60th minute of the match. 64 minutes into the match, Racing FC's goal looked a bit too open when Octavio Herrera came free, but Teodosio Ieltxu reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Octavio Herrera took the ball and in the 70 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Teodosio Ieltxu. Teodosio Ieltxu dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 3-1. In the 73rd minute, Octavio Herrera made a precise shot to the right of Teodosio Ieltxu. Racing FC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 4-1. Emanuel Irimia showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Zeledon Bernard in the 78th minute of the match. In the 79th minute, Christian George got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Christian George's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Teodosio Ieltxu read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 84th minute of play. Octavio Herrera fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 85th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Teodosio Ieltxu having to interfere. Geronimo Tiniebra hit a great freekick 86 minutes into the match. Christian George succeeded in the game's 88th minute to shoot an unreachable shot under the crossbar and scored - 6-1. 97 minutes into the match, Christian George notched a goal, 7-1, to the right of Racing FC's Teodosio Ieltxu. Teodosio Ieltxu was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. There was no doubt that Arsenal F. C. were the better team. Arsenal F. C.'s players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
