Doña Clotilde's Aldo Maule proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 10th minute of the match, managed to save Club Atl. Doña Clotilde from getting a goal against them. When Salvador Aztore came up free with the goalie in the 28th minute, the QuilmesFC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Salvador Aztore couldn't finish the play. When the match had gone on for 30 minutes, Salvador Aztore took a quick shot and it went in 1-1 without a chance for Aldo Maule to make any attempt to save it. 37 minutes into the match, Club Atl. Doña Clotilde's goal looked a bit too open when Salvador Aztore came free, but Aldo Maule reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Moises Lugo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 39th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 44th minute Salvador Aztore shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Aldo Maule saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 45 played minutes Club Atl. Doña Clotilde got a freekick which was hit by Hugo Cebrian. After 46 played minutes Salvador Aztore rounded Club Atl. Doña Clotilde's defense and shot a beautiful shot into goal via left pole - 2-1. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 2-1.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Benjamin Guerau to strike the kick off in the second half. Sergio Eudoxio kicked well hit freekick during the 55th minute of the match. Baldomiro Ospin hit a great freekick 57 minutes into the match. With a little luck, QuilmesFC's Luisito Isauro got control of the ball when Moises Lugo tried to sneak it across the goal line. QuilmesFC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Club Atl. Doña Clotilde the free kick. Club Atl. Doña Clotilde's Ruben Abalos was substituted for Rene Martinez. Aldo Maule took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Salvador Aztore, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Benjamin Guerau recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 79th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Esteve Delfino in the 84th minute of play forced Club Atl. Doña Clotilde's goalkeeper Aldo Maule to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Moises Lugo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 88th minute. Luisito Isauro tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Benjamin Guerau fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 89th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Luisito Isauro having to interfere. The QuilmesFC support was delighted with a win in a match that could easily have ended differently.
