Angelino Emesto made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Lucio Arias in the 6th minute of play. Eulalio Lamberto showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Javier Mikeldi in the 7th minute of the match. After some fancy dribbling in the 9th minute, Eriberto Dei managed to get in a good position for a shot. Colazo's supporters rose to their feet, but Eriberto Dei was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Angelino Emesto breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. If Aureliano Serapio had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 15th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 16th minute, Mauricio Senon hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. German Chale fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 19th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Angelino Emesto having to interfere. After a rather tough play, El Millonario's Roberto Eduino got a free kick in the 22nd minute. German Chale recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 23rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Eulalio Lamberto made a fantastic save in the 27th minute, when Nicanor Sedeni sent off a good shot on target. Eriberto Dei received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 33rd minute. Angelino Emesto tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The supporters of Colazo booed when El Millonario was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 39 match minutes in a wonderful position. Aureliano Serapio didn't get a good kick on the ball. Angelino Emesto showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Eriberto Dei, who was totally free with the ball in the 43rd minute. 44 minutes into the match, Colazo's Eriberto Dei sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Angelino Emesto narrowly saved just below the crossbar. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Eriberto Dei to strike the kick off in the second half. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Nicanor Sedeni during the 52nd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Nicanor Sedeni kicked well hit freekick during the 52nd minute of the match. Nicanor Sedeni sent away a hard shot on goal in the 54th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Nicanor Sedeni recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 61st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. When the match had gone on for 71 minutes, Eriberto Dei took a quick shot and it went in 0-2 without a chance for Angelino Emesto to make any attempt to save it. When El Millonario's Javier Mikeldi in the 76th minute got a chance for a shot 76th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Colazo's goalie prevented a goal. Aureliano Serapio kicked well hit freekick during the 81st minute of the match. After 83 played minutes El Millonario got a freekick which was hit by Aureliano Serapio. 86 minutes into the match, Colazo's Eriberto Dei sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Angelino Emesto narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Eriberto Dei received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 90th minute. Angelino Emesto tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The El Millonario fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Colazo were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
