In the 23rd minute the ball was on its way in behind Deportivo Santamarina's goalkeeper Leopoldo Mikelar, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. 0-1 became the score in the 28th minute when Gustavo Donostia elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. Isidro Piorno sent away a hard shot on goal in the 34th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Adriana Fix showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Anibal Pereyra in the 36th minute of the match. With a little luck, Deportivo Santamarina's Leopoldo Mikelar got control of the ball when Gustavo Donostia tried to sneak it across the goal line. When Modesto Ramone fell near the penalty area in the 74th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Deportivo Santamarina's protests and gave Modesto Ramone a yellow card for diving instead.
