Victorino Normando showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Romeo Chico, who was totally free with the ball in the 16th minute. In the 19th minute, Martin Lluc hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Bairesdata's Cristian Montez proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 21st minute of the match, managed to save Bairesdata from getting a goal against them. After 34 minutes, Domingos Xacintu mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Olimpia and the Bairesdata players grew even worse after the yellow card. After a rather tough play, Olimpia's Domingos Xacintu got a free kick in the 35th minute. 38 minutes into the game, Romeo Chico cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-1. Victorino Normando was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Bairesdata's Cristian Montez proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 46th minute of the match, managed to save Bairesdata from getting a goal against them. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-1 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Domingos Xacintu was the one to do the kick off. After 56 played minutes Olimpia got a freekick which was hit by Martin Lluc. Segundo Leoncio received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 60th minute. Victorino Normando tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Olimpia's Victorino Normando proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 62nd minute of the match, managed to save Olimpia from getting a goal against them. After 66 played minutes Olimpia got a freekick which was hit by Abel Boni. Romeo Chico fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 70th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Victorino Normando having to interfere. 71 minutes into the match, Olimpia's goalkeeper Victorino Normando had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Segundo Leoncio. Feliberto Cloyo recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 75th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 78 minutes into the match, Olimpia's goalkeeper Victorino Normando had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Segundo Leoncio. Cristian Montez showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Samuel Reyes, who was totally free with the ball in the 86th minute. Victorino Normando made a fantastic save in the 88th minute, when Segundo Leoncio sent off a good shot on target. Bairesdata's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
