A collision led to Caroya getting a freekick after 2 minutes play. Godofredo Illart hit a great ball. Guillermo Macias struck a weak shot in the 3rd minute. Siro Aires didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Villa San Antonio. Guido Valery took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Bernardino Gartxot, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Bernardino Gartxot might have been able to make a better finish in the 11th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Guido Valery. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Bernardino Gartxot ran back to his position shaking his head. Villa San Antonio's defense didn't have a chance, in the 13th minute, when Bernardino Gartxot scored to the left of an out of position Guido Valery, making the score, 1-0. In the 17th minute, Gonzalo Celino got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. A well placed Bernardino Gartxot short distance shot in the 29th minute ended with a hard ball which without a chance for the goalkeeper went staright up into the goalkeepers left cross. After a defensive mix-up in Villa San Antonio's zone, Gonzalo Celino stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Guido Valery came out of the goal and Gonzalo Celino tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 34th match minute, Villa San Antonio was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Uriel Cruz to maneuver through the defense. 36 minutes into the game, Bernardino Gartxot recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Guido Valery. Bernardino Gartxot showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 3-0. Guido Valery showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Bernardino Gartxot, who was totally free with the ball in the 41st minute. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 3-0.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Bernardino Gartxot to make the kick off. Matias Rosio charged in rather forcefully in the 54th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Matias Rosio the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Matias Rosio hit a great freekick 54 minutes into the match. Dario Lopes might have been able to make a better finish in the 64th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Siro Aires. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Dario Lopes ran back to his position shaking his head. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Godofredo Illart during the 68th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After a rather tough play, Caroya's Godofredo Illart got a free kick in the 69th minute. In the 70th minute, Caroya's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Guillermo Macias fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. During the 73rd minute of the match Uriel Cruz completely mistimed his tackle and brought down his opponent. The referee gave Uriel Cruz a yellow card, his second in the match, which meant he could no longer take part in the game. In the 74th minute, Uriel Cruz hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 78 minutes into the game, Caroya's Bernardino Gartxot nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Guido Valery made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 4-1. Guido Valery made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Bernardino Gartxot in the 84th minute of play. If Gonzalo Celino had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 85th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Bernardino Gartxot fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 88th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Guido Valery having to interfere.
