A collision led to Progreso FC getting a freekick after 3 minutes play. Zeledon Xabier hit a great ball. In the 4th minute, Roque Taurino hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Melchor Hustaz kicked well hit freekick during the 10th minute of the match. Saul Sabino showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ubaldo Cortez in the 18th minute of the match. The supporters of Uclar AFC booed when Progreso FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 21 match minutes in a wonderful position. Roque Taurino didn't get a good kick on the ball. Hermengildo Azevedo scored 1-2 in the 30th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Bruno Baraquiel, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 37th minute, Progreso FC's Edgardo Ponce dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 2-2. Hermengildo Azevedo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 44th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Bruno Baraquiel having to interfere. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Edgardo Ponce to strike the kick off in the second half. 50 minutes into the game, Camilo Cordera was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Uclar AFC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Progreso FC the free kick. In the 51st minute, Camilo Cordera hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Isaac Abar kicked well hit freekick during the 54th minute of the match. Saul Sabino showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Nereo Mark in the 67th minute of the match. Camilo Cordera fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 76th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Bruno Baraquiel having to interfere. In the 77th match minute, Progreso FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ubaldo Cortez to maneuver through the defense. Hermengildo Azevedos short, quick shot in the 79thth minute got Bruno Baraquiel to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Camilo Cordera fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 83rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Bruno Baraquiel having to interfere. Edgardo Ponce hit a great freekick 86 minutes into the match. After 88 minutes of play, Progreso FC's Nereo Mark made it 4-3 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Saul Sabino was left in no man's land by his defense there! An unexpectedly hard shot by Edgardo Ponce in the 94th minute of play forced Uclar AFC's goalkeeper Saul Sabino to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Melchor Hustaz took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 96th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Bruno Baraquiel. Progreso FC's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line.
