Luciano Eladio charged in rather forcefully in the 23rd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Luciano Eladio the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 23rd match minute, Atlético Azara was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Luciano Eladio to maneuver through the defense. A collision led to Atlético Azara getting a freekick after 25 minutes play. Placido Quinteros hit a great ball. Atlético Azara's Alfredo Umea played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Saturnino Iruinea in the 26th minute of play. 32 minutes into the match, Calderilla AFC's goal looked a bit too open when Ildefonso Argenis came free, but Carolo Heriberto reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Feliberto Arlo in the 33rd minute of play forced Atlético Azara's goalkeeper Alfredo Umea to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Placido Quinteros during the 37th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 37th minute, Placido Quinteros hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 38th minute the ball was on its way in behind Atlético Azara's goalkeeper Alfredo Umea, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Calderilla AFC's Bernardino Rio suffered a concussion after 40 minutes and had to leave the field. When Horacio Indar fell near the penalty area in the 40th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Atlético Azara's protests and gave Horacio Indar a yellow card for diving instead. Calderilla AFC made a substitution. Melquiades Herrera replaced Bernardino Rio. When Luciano Eladio was, once again, overly rough in his play he received his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. 44 minutes had been played. In the 45th match minute, Atlético Azara was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Luciano Eladio to maneuver through the defense. Flavio Muc fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 46th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Alfredo Umea having to interfere.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Flavio Muc to make the kick off. In the 54thth minute of the game Flavio Muc who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Atlético Azara's Alfredo Umea was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Alfredo Umea showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Godfredo Urtzi, who was totally free with the ball in the 62nd minute. Alfredo Umea took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Feliberto Arlo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. A collision led to Calderilla AFC getting a freekick after 64 minutes play. Albano Astrada hit a great ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Flavio Muc in the 67th minute of play forced Atlético Azara's goalkeeper Alfredo Umea to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 69th minute, Saturnino Iruinea got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. 71 minutes into the match, Atlético Azara's goal looked a bit too open when Horacio Bertin came free, but Alfredo Umea reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Albano Astrada in the 79th minute of play forced Atlético Azara's goalkeeper Alfredo Umea to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Alfredo Umea showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Flavio Muc in the 80th minute of the match. Alfredo Umea didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Saturnino Iruinea went, in the 86th minute, to the upper right corner, 3-0 was the resulting score. 91 minutes into the match, Atlético Azara's goal looked a bit too open when Flavio Muc came free, but Alfredo Umea reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Alfredo Umea made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Saturnino Iruinea in the 92nd minute of play. When Horacio Bertin fell near the penalty area in the 96th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Calderilla AFC's protests and gave Horacio Bertin a yellow card for diving instead. When the referee ended the match the Calderilla AFC players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
