Atlético Azara's Ildefonso Argenis got a good chance for a goal in the 3rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 4th match minute, Villa Mitre was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Dante Urre to maneuver through the defense. Aristides Vitin made an important save on a dangerous shot by Ildefonso Argenis in the 8th minute. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Reynaldo Rius in the 11th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Alfredo Umea prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Villa Mitre's Aristides Vitin proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 17th minute of the match, managed to save Villa Mitre from getting a goal against them. If Reynaldo Rius had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 22nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Valentin Ioritz got a throw-in 24 minutes in the game and the ball was received by Placido Quinteros. Reynaldo Rius sent away a hard shot on goal in the 28th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. The audience thought a goal was coming when Ildefonso Argenis got free with Aristides Vitin in the 30th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Aristides Vitin took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Horacio Indar, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Placido Quinteros sent away a hard shot on goal in the 36th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The crowd rose to their feet as Luciano Eladio kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Aristides Vitin. That made the score 1-0 in the 39 minute of play. 45 minutes into the match, Villa Mitre's goalkeeper Aristides Vitin had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Placido Quinteros. Placido Quinteros came free with the goalkeeper in the 48th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Aristides Vitin could save by the left post.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Horacio Indar to make the kick off. An unexpectedly hard shot by Horacio Indar in the 52nd minute of play forced Villa Mitre's goalkeeper Aristides Vitin to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Villa Mitre's Reynaldo Rius got a good chance for a goal in the 57th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Reynaldo Rius did some fancy footwork in front of goal and succeeded to deceive the defenders so he could slam the ball in 1-1 to the left of a surprised Alfredo Umea 59 minutes into the match. Aristides Vitin made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ildefonso Argenis in the 73rd minute of play. Reynaldo Rius who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 77thth minute tested the skills of Alfredo Umea when he managed to save the team from getting behind. In the 79th minute Horacio Indar shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Aristides Vitin saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Alfredo Umea showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Rosendo Leguizamón in the 84th minute of the match. Aristides Vitin made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Horacio Indar in the 86th minute of play. In the 90th match minute, Atlético Azara was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Luciano Eladio to maneuver through the defense. After 95 minutes of play, Atlético Azara's Ildefonso Argenis made it 2-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Aristides Vitin was left in no man's land by his defense there! Neither set of supporters seemed pleased with the draw, but both teams had played equally well today.
