Placido Berto hit a great freekick 45 minutes into the match. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell King Scocco to make the kick off. After 51 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. Everyone was convinced a goal was close when Ambrosetti's Fernan Cresconio in the 57th minute lifted the ball towards the upper right corner, but Gerasimos Proedropoulos was perfectly placed and prevented a goal for Bravona through an amazing save. In a very dangerous position, a player in Bravona fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 73rd minute. Penalty! In the 79th minute, Ambrosetti's Herminio Pabla ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Gerasimos Proedropoulos. Gerasimos Proedropoulos yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-4. When the match was over Ambrosetti could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Bravona throughout the match.
