Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) Ambrosetti's Herminio Pabla started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Benedicto Lartaun took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Fernan Cresconio, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 6 minutes into the match, Atl. Nacional's goal looked a bit too open when Fernan Cresconio came free, but Benedicto Lartaun reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Esteve Tancredo kicked well hit freekick during the 9th minute of the match. In the 17th match minute, Atl. Nacional was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Gerardo Lauren to maneuver through the defense. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Gerardo Lauren during the 19th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Benedicto Lartaun took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Konrad Bergström, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 25 minutes of play, Ambrosetti's Herminio Pabla made it 0-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Benedicto Lartaun was left in no man's land by his defense there! Benedicto Lartaun made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Konrad Bergström in the 29th minute of play. 31 minutes into the match, Fernan Cresconio notched a goal, 0-2, to the right of Atl. Nacional's Benedicto Lartaun. Benedicto Lartaun was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. In the 36th minute, Fernan Cresconio got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After 39 minutes of play, Ambrosetti's Konrad Bergström made it 0-3 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Benedicto Lartaun was left in no man's land by his defense there! Fernan Cresconio received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 43rd minute. Benedicto Lartaun tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Gerardo Lauren was shown his second yellow card after 44 minutes, following a rather ugly tackle on opponent. That was the end of his participation in the match. Benedicto Lartaun stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Herminio Pabla's shot from short distance in the 46th minute. Disappointed in the 0-3 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Gaudencio Pes stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. After a rather tough play, Atl. Nacional's Patricio Turi got a free kick in the 58th minute. Herminio Pabla who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 66thth minute tested the skills of Benedicto Lartaun when he managed to save the team from getting behind. A hard shot 69 in the game by Herminio Pabla from a close distance when the talented Benedicto Lartaun managed to make a qualified save. Atl. Nacional's players were relieved. Ambrosetti's Fernan Cresconio got a good chance for a goal in the 78th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Herminio Pabla in the 82ndth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Benedicto Lartaun, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. In the 88th match minute, Ambrosetti was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Cayetano Tebaldo to maneuver through the defense. In the 89th minute, Gaudencio Pes left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Atl. Nacional fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-3. If Fernan Cresconio had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 96th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead.
