In the 15th minute, Manolo Raya hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After a rather tough play, Veléz Sarsfield's Manolo Raya got a free kick in the 17th minute. After 20 minutes of play, Veléz Sarsfield's Juan Manuel Martínez made it 0-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Francisco Perpinya was left in no man's land by his defense there! Ereinotz Barrios showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Alejandro Lastur in the 29th minute of the match. Jeremias Furman came free with the goalkeeper in the 32nd minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Ereinotz Barrios could save by the left post. In the 33rd match minute, Bitter Fate was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Zacarias Cordero to maneuver through the defense. Francisco Perpinya made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Angelo Erroman in the 34th minute of play. A collision led to Veléz Sarsfield getting a freekick after 35 minutes play. Martin Lattanzi hit a great ball. Veléz Sarsfield's Ereinotz Barrios proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 40th minute of the match, managed to save Veléz Sarsfield from getting a goal against them. In the 43rd minute, Bitter Fate's Alejandro Lastur dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 2-1. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 2-1 at half-time.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Angelo Erroman made a kick off. Bitter Fate's Francisco Perpinya proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 54th minute of the match, managed to save Bitter Fate from getting a goal against them. When Veléz Sarsfield's Juan Manuel Martínez in the 56th minute got a chance for a shot 56th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. In the 78th match minute, Veléz Sarsfield was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Sebastiano Martínez to maneuver through the defense. Ereinotz Barrios showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Paolo Bautista in the 82nd minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Zacarias Cordero in the 85th minute of play forced Veléz Sarsfield's goalkeeper Ereinotz Barrios to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Paolo Bautista in the 96th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Ereinotz Barrios prevented the ball from getting in the gole. The teams fought very hard right up to the final whistle. Both sets of players were happy to go away with a draw.
