Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) Sofocado FC's Hjalmar Klinte started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Fabricio Quintana recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 4th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The supporters of Sofocado FC booed when Momias FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 9 match minutes in a wonderful position. Paulino Geleberto didn't get a good kick on the ball. Sofocado FC's Enrique Lando played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by David Sotil in the 12th minute of play. When David Sotil fell near the penalty area in the 13th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Momias FC's protests and gave David Sotil a yellow card for diving instead. In the 14th minute, David Sotil hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Adam Kosiorek struck a weak shot in the 15th minute. Amado Atarratze didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Sofocado FC. In the 16th match minute, Momias FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Alejandro Ruisko to maneuver through the defense. Adam Kosiorek sent away a hard shot on goal in the 20th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. A collision led to Momias FC getting a freekick after 23 minutes play. Cristobal Senin hit a great ball. Leandro Valery hit a great freekick 27 minutes into the match. After 28 played minutes Sofocado FC got a freekick which was hit by Edgardo Veremundo. After some careless play in the Momias FC defense, Cayetano Tartalo kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Amado Atarratze. The Momias FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Amado Atarratze should have stopped the shot. Enrique Lando took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Paulino Geleberto, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 38 played minutes Sofocado FC got a freekick which was hit by Leonardo Lidon. Urbano Carlomagno scored 1-1 in the 48th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Enrique Lando, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. The first half was very even, with the score at 1-1 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

In the 58th minute, Feliberto Sergi hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Enrique Lando made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Juan Donzel in the 61st minute of play. After 63 played minutes Momias FC got a freekick which was hit by Paulino Geleberto. In the 68th minute, Alejandro Ruisko hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 70 minutes into the game, Urbano Carlomagno was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Momias FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Sofocado FC the free kick. Adam Kosiorek received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 83rd minute. Amado Atarratze tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Amado Atarratze showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Hjalmar Klinte, who was totally free with the ball in the 84th minute. 88 minutes into the match, Juan Donzel dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Enrique Lando, 1-2. Fabricio Quintana could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 92nd minute of the match, but Enrique Lando made a huge save. If Adam Kosiorek had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 95th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 98th minute the ball was on its way in behind Momias FC's goalkeeper Amado Atarratze, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched Momias FC eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
