In the 3rdth minute of the game Ulises Tancredo who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Esquel AFC's Laureano Llope was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. After 5 minutes, Venancio Igon made it 1-0 with a short kick to the right side. Chacarita FC's Diego Peter tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Ulises Tancredo scored 1-1 in the 10th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Laureano Llope, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Edgard Heriberto received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Diego Peter came out and tried to block the shot, but Edgard Heriberto slotted it home off the left post making it 2-1 in the 14th minute. A collision led to Esquel AFC getting a freekick after 17 minutes play. Julian Gurutz hit a great ball. Luciano Gaspard fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 18th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Laureano Llope having to interfere. Venancio Igon received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 21st minute. The referee felt a red card was in order, 96 minutes into the game, when Eugenio Indartsu put in a rough tackle. 95 minutes into the game, one of Chacarita FC:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. For all the effort they put into the match, the Chacarita FC players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Esquel AFC.
