Siro Tristan's late challenge caught a Tricao Malal's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Siro Tristan helped the player get up and apologised. In the 16th match minute, Congreso FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Siro Tristan to maneuver through the defense. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Jeronimo Hori took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ladislao Claus, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 69 played minutes Tricao Malal got a freekick which was hit by Haroldo Ovando. Congreso FC's Abelardo Neron couldn't find anyone to pass the ball to, so he shot a long shot towards the goal in the 70th minute. The shot went wide which resulted in a goal kick for Tricao Malal. After 72 minutes, Nedko Tabandzhov mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Congreso FC and the Tricao Malal players grew even worse after the yellow card. Nedko Tabandzhov kicked well hit freekick during the 72nd minute of the match. 77 minutes into the match, Nedko Tabandzhov had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Jeronimo Hori. Tricao Malal's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Nedko Tabandzhov was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 5-0. Tricao Malal's Jeronimo Hori played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ladislao Claus in the 87th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Rodolfo Abechuco in the 90th minute of play forced Congreso FC's goalkeeper Ladislao Berbiz to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Ladislao Berbiz made an important save on a dangerous shot by Rodolfo Abechuco in the 90th minute. When Fernan Fortun fell near the penalty area in the 90th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick.
