Jeronimo Hori dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-1. When the match had gone on for 19 minutes, Bernardo Basajaun took a quick shot and it went in 2-1 without a chance for Eduardo Baumer to make any attempt to save it. Bernardo Basajaun struck a weak shot in the 22nd minute. Eduardo Baumer didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Tricao Malal. The wind increased when Rodolfo Abechuco made the kick off in the second half. Rodolfo Abechuco sent away a hard shot on goal in the 51st minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. The supporters of Pedernales FT booed when Tricao Malal was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 60 match minutes in a wonderful position. Igor Txeru didn't get a good kick on the ball. Tricao Malal's Freddy Baladi quite brazenly broke a throw-in by Teodoro Gaitano, made in the 67th minute of the game. Aristides Oliveiro sent away a hard shot on goal in the 72nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After 76 played minutes Tricao Malal got a freekick which was hit by Geronimo Javiero. After a rather tough play, Pedernales FT's Aristides Oliveiro got a free kick in the 80th minute. Eduardo Baumer came out of the goal in the 87th minute to try and stop a shot by Tricao Malal's Leandro Berdaitz. But to his dismay, Leandro Berdaitz quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 4-2. Jeronimo Hori showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Elpidio Martino in the 91st minute of the match. When Geronimo Javiero fell near the penalty area in the 93rd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Tricao Malal's protests and gave Geronimo Javiero a yellow card for diving instead. After a rather tough play, Tricao Malal's Geronimo Javiero got a free kick in the 96th minute. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Tricao Malal fans cheered their team off the field, for while Pedernales FT had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
