When Marcelo Delgado came up free with the goalie in the 5th minute, the Benavídez AFC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Marcelo Delgado couldn't finish the play. After a rather tough play, Güemes AFC's Samuel Aznar got a free kick in the 15th minute. Marcelo Delgado received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 18th minute. Inocencio Baumer tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Benigno Chayo was out of position in the 21 minute of play, and Cayetano Jokin capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Cayetano Jokin really showed his touch with that goal: 1-0. After a defensive mix-up in Güemes AFC's zone, Jacobo Domenec stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Inocencio Baumer came out of the goal and Jacobo Domenec tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Marcelo Delgado fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 27th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Inocencio Baumer having to interfere. The supporters of Benavídez AFC booed when Güemes AFC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 33 match minutes in a wonderful position. Genaro Lastur didn't get a good kick on the ball. Benigno Chayo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Cayetano Jokin in the 35th minute of the match. In the 42nd minute Cayetano Jokin shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Benigno Chayo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Benavídez AFC's Benigno Chayo proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 44th minute of the match, managed to save Benavídez AFC from getting a goal against them. In the 46th minute, Cayetano Jokin hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Jacobo Domenec fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 47th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Inocencio Baumer having to interfere. Af the end of the first half the score was 1-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Jacobo Domenec to strike the kick off in the second half. Inocencio Baumer showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Jacobo Domenec, who was totally free with the ball in the 53rd minute. Samuel Aznar struck a weak shot in the 60th minute. Benigno Chayo didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Güemes AFC. Benigno Chayo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Cayetano Jokin in the 66th minute of the match. 73 minutes into the match, Marcelo Delgado notched a goal, 1-2, to the right of Güemes AFC's Inocencio Baumer. Inocencio Baumer was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. A collision led to Güemes AFC getting a freekick after 81 minutes play. Dalmacio Sayveon hit a great ball. Inocencio Baumer made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jacobo Domenec in the 86th minute of play. In the 91st minute, Cayetano Jokin made a precise shot to the right of Benigno Chayo. Benavídez AFC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-2. When Gaspar Faro fell near the penalty area in the 94th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Benavídez AFC's protests and gave Gaspar Faro a yellow card for diving instead. The supporters of Güemes AFC booed when Benavídez AFC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 94 match minutes in a wonderful position. Gaspar Faro didn't get a good kick on the ball. 96 minutes into the game, Daniel Herena was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Güemes AFC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Benavídez AFC the free kick. Daniel Herena kicked well hit freekick during the 96th minute of the match.
