Amadeo Aguilera fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 33rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Florencio Panpili having to interfere. Armando Jurgi kicked well hit freekick during the 36th minute of the match. Florencio Panpili breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 1-2 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Gervasio Ovando to make the kick off. Florencio Panpili made an important save on a dangerous shot by Amadeo Aguilera in the 61st minute. Amadeo Aguilera sent away a hard shot on goal in the 63rd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. In the 64th minute Conrado Fernendo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jacobo Mero saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. At last the ball reached Gervasio Ovando at the corner, ending with a kick to difficult to stop for the goalkeeper of Malaspina AFC. 1-3.
