With an all-out effort, Lokutito Football Club VC's Alejandro Bazil threw himself towards the right post 5 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Edgard Martino, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. Narciso Paul kicked well hit freekick during the 12th minute of the match. Alejandro Bazil made a fantastic save in the 13th minute, when Mauricio Abadie sent off a good shot on target. Alejandro Bazil made an important save on a dangerous shot by Edgard Martino in the 20th minute. With a little luck, Gaimán's Alejandro Bazil got control of the ball when Zenon Teofila tried to sneak it across the goal line. Gaimán's Alejandro Bazil proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 40th minute of the match, managed to save Gaimán from getting a goal against them. After 44 minutes, Remus Flintașu mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Lokutito Football Club VC and the Gaimán players grew even worse after the yellow card. A collision led to Lokutito Football Club VC getting a freekick after 44 minutes play. Remus Flintașu hit a great ball. After a rather tough play, Gaimán's Alejo Inocente got a free kick in the 46th minute. Alejandro Bazil didn't succeed to prevent the ball from going into goal when Lokutito Football Club VC's Edgard Martino shot an unexpected shot in the crossbar's under edge and made 2-1 in the ordered_time% minute. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 2-1.

57 minutes into the match, Gaimán's goal looked a bit too open when Edgard Martino came free, but Alejandro Bazil reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. If Saverio Txordon had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 69th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Inocencio Piearres sent away a hard shot on goal in the 71st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Gaimán's Alejandro Bazil played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Domingo Harkaitz in the 74th minute of play. The corner led Lokutito Football Club VC's Mauricio Abadie to fire away a dangerous shot which Alejandro Bazil despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. Lokutito Football Club VC's Domingo Harkaitz got a good chance for a goal in the 77th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Narciso Paul kicked well hit freekick during the 78th minute of the match. In the 79th minute Mauricio Abadie shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Alejandro Bazil saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Silverio Misael in the 80th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Alvaro Bastia prevented the ball from getting in the gole. When Conrado Silban came up free with the goalie in the 82nd minute, the Gaimán fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Conrado Silban couldn't finish the play. After some careless play in the Gaimán defense, Edgard Martino kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Alejandro Bazil. The Gaimán fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Alejandro Bazil should have stopped the shot. Remus Flintașu made in the 88th minute of the game a fairly good throw-in which was taken care of by Domingo Harkaitz. In the 92nd match minute, Gaimán was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Conrado Silban to maneuver through the defense. For all the effort they put into the match, the Gaimán players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Lokutito Football Club VC.
