Rastrojos's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave 2820 the free kick. In the 19th minute, Antonio Demario hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The supporters of Rastrojos booed when 2820 was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 21 match minutes in a wonderful position. Agustin Montae didn't get a good kick on the ball. Jacobo Cordarrel showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Javier Dominix, who was totally free with the ball in the 26th minute. If Fulgencio Haitz had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 40th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 45th minute, Javier Dominix got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-1 lead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Javier Dominix to make the kick off. Jacobo Cordarrel made an important save on a dangerous shot by Efrain Atarratze in the 55th minute. Fredrik Nygren didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Roberto Frasquito went, in the 56th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-1 was the resulting score. In the 72nd minute, Leo Dubardo made a precise shot to the right of Fredrik Nygren. Rastrojos's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-2. In the 76th minute Leo Dubardo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Fredrik Nygren saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Roberto Frasquito in the 78th minute of play forced Rastrojos's goalkeeper Fredrik Nygren to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Fulgencio Haitz could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 80th minute of the match, but Jacobo Cordarrel made a huge save. An unexpectedly hard shot by Julio Cheche in the 81st minute of play forced 2820's goalkeeper Jacobo Cordarrel to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. A collision led to Rastrojos getting a freekick after 85 minutes play. Javier Dominix hit a great ball. 2820's Jacobo Cordarrel played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Javier Dominix in the 91st minute of play. When the referee blew the final whistle, you could see the dissatisfaction in the 2820 players' eyes. They were disappointed they hadn't taken more from the game.
