Froilan Panfilo succeeded to score despite a near miss that spronge from right pole into the goal to 1-0 in the 13th playminute. Serafin Oinaz made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Luis Calisto in the 19th minute of play. When Ladislao Ignado fell near the penalty area in the 21st minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Maravilla's protests and gave Ladislao Ignado a yellow card for diving instead. After a rather tough play, Maravilla's Ladislao Ignado got a free kick in the 21st minute. Luis Calisto scored 2-0 in the 28th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Serafin Oinaz, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Luis Calisto fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 34th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Serafin Oinaz having to interfere. Rigoberto Urdaspal hit a great freekick 37 minutes into the match. Generoso Justin spun around in front of the goal 39 minutes in the game, and got away a shot that, to his disappointment, went to the left of Maravilla's goal. Generoso Justin fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 42nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Roman Muench having to interfere. 44 minutes into the match, Maravilla's Froilan Panfilo sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Serafin Oinaz narrowly saved just below the crossbar. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 2-0.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Luis Calisto to strike the kick off in the second half. In the 55thth minute of the game Generoso Justin who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Maravilla's Roman Muench was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Andrade's Luciano Eli shoveled away a really nice long shot in the 57th minute of play. The shot was stopped by Roman Muench but with some difficulty. The supporters of Maravilla booed when Andrade was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 60 match minutes in a wonderful position. Santiago Montes didn't get a good kick on the ball. When the match had gone on for 67 minutes, Manuel Bide took a quick shot and it went in 2-1 without a chance for Roman Muench to make any attempt to save it. In the 72nd minute, Luis Calisto made a precise shot to the right of Serafin Oinaz. Andrade's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 3-1. The referee ordered Pastor Abecia off the ground. A collision led to Andrade getting a freekick after 92 minutes play. Pastor Abecia hit a great ball.
