Edgard Padro hit a great ball. Ciro Fernado could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 25th minute of the match, but Rogelio Arias made a huge save. Rene Moise's late challenge caught a Olascoaga's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Rene Moise helped the player get up and apologised. In the 32nd minute, Rene Moise hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Tadeo Dalmu recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 33rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Rogelio Arias took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ciro Fernado, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The audience thought a goal was coming when Tadeo Dalmu got free with Rogelio Arias in the 43rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort.

Rogelio Arias stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Tadeo Dalmu's shot from short distance in the 52nd minute. 58 minutes into the match, Erasmo Lauro notched a goal, 1-1, to the right of Bavio's Rogelio Arias. Rogelio Arias was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. After a rather tough play, Bavio's Rene Moise got a free kick in the 65th minute. In the 66th minute, Erasmo Lauro got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Ricardo Innocenzio scored 2-1 in the 68th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Rogelio Arias, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. If Erasmo Lauro had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 71st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Tadeo Dalmu received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 73rd minute. Rogelio Arias tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 76th minute Ricardo Innocenzio shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Rogelio Arias saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Arturo Deunoro made an important save on a dangerous shot by Edgard Tuste in the 79th minute. After a defensive mix-up in Bavio's zone, Ricardo Innocenzio stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Rogelio Arias came out of the goal and Ricardo Innocenzio tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 83 minutes into the match, Tadeo Dalmu had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Rogelio Arias. Bavio's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Tadeo Dalmu was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 3-1. In the 95th minute, Erasmo Lauro made a precise shot to the right of Rogelio Arias. Bavio's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 5-1. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. Olascoaga had played much better football throughout.
