Pringles's Luis Erauso played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Isidro Mitxel in the 5th minute of play. With 6 minutes on the clock, Baldomiro Obano commited a dangerous tackle. The referee had no choice but to show him the red card. After 6 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Pringles! The referee gave San Cristóbal a penalty, 8 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Leonel Diaz, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of Pringles's Luis Erauso. 1-0. An unexpectedly hard shot by Alfonso Rolado in the 17th minute of play forced Pringles's goalkeeper Luis Erauso to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 30th minute of the match San Cristóbal got a corner. Pringles's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Leonel Diaz ran over to the corner to take the kick. The corner ended in Leonel Diaz almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Pringles's Luis Erauso did a great save. In the 33rd minute Isidro Mitxel shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Luis Erauso saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After a rather tough play, Pringles's Severiano Gabrio got a free kick in the 34th minute. In the 38th minute, Pringles's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Alfonso Rolado fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. With his leg Luis Erauso managed to avoid a goal in the 40thth minute, when San Cristóbal's Alfonso Rolado fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Luis Erauso made a fantastic save in the 44th minute, when Alfonso Rolado sent off a good shot on target. When Arnulfo Faro fell near the penalty area in the 45th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Pringles's protests and gave Arnulfo Faro a yellow card for diving instead. In the 48th play minute Alfonso Rolado came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised Luis Erauso. 2-0. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 2-0 at half-time.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Marco Izotz to strike the kick off in the second half. 57 minutes into the match, Pringles's goal looked a bit too open when Isidro Mitxel came free, but Luis Erauso reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. A collision led to Pringles getting a freekick after 58 minutes play. Arnulfo Faro hit a great ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Isidro Mitxel in the 60th minute of play forced Pringles's goalkeeper Luis Erauso to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. If Erasmo Nevada had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 61st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. If Marco Izotz had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 64th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 81st minute Isidro Mitxel shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Luis Erauso saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After having played for 82 minutes, Marco Izotz managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Pringles's supporters crossed their fingers, but Marco Izotz was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Marco Izotz sent away a hard shot on goal in the 92nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Alfonso Rolado blasted a shot towards the goal in the 95th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Luis Erauso having to make a save. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. San Cristóbal had won after a very even match.
