The score was now 1-0. 38 minutes into the game, Ernesto Ricart cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-0. Pablo Quirze was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 2-0.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Ernesto Ricart made a kick off. In the 56th match minute, Tapas FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Paulo Mitxel to maneuver through the defense. When Evaristo Arixo fell near the penalty area in the 58th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Tapas FC's protests and gave Evaristo Arixo a yellow card for diving instead. A collision led to Tapas FC getting a freekick after 58 minutes play. Evaristo Arixo hit a great ball. In the 61st match minute, Tapas FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ezequiel Pietro to maneuver through the defense. Pablo Quirze took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Elias Telo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Elias Telo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 67th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Pablo Quirze having to interfere. Juan Dunixi scored 2-1 in the 75th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Eusebio Erlantz, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. The supporters of Vergara FC booed when Tapas FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 79 match minutes in a wonderful position. Bernardo Abarca didn't get a good kick on the ball. With a little luck, Tapas FC's Eusebio Erlantz got control of the ball when Juan Dunixi tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 81st minute, Ezequiel Pietro hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. If Anastasio Pasqual had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 82nd minute.
