Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) The mood of the audience was pleasant when Amerigo Toccaceli made the kick off which started today's match. After 4 played minutes Los Carniceros got a freekick which was hit by Carmelo Santo. Válter Proença took the ball and in the 12 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Roberto Giraldo. Roberto Giraldo dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-0. 19 minutes into the match, Los Carniceros's goal looked a bit too open when Ray Pinhey came free, but Roberto Giraldo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Los Carniceros's Roberto Giraldo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Válter Proença in the 23rd minute of play. After some fancy dribbling in the 31st minute, Ray Pinhey managed to get in a good position for a shot. Granaderos's supporters rose to their feet, but Ray Pinhey was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Roberto Giraldo breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 35th minute, Válter Proença got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. When Amerigo Toccaceli fell near the penalty area in the 37th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Los Carniceros's protests and gave Amerigo Toccaceli a yellow card for diving instead. The supporters of Granaderos booed when Los Carniceros was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 37 match minutes in a wonderful position. Amerigo Toccaceli didn't get a good kick on the ball. Válter Proença received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 40th minute. Roberto Giraldo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Amerigo Toccaceli in the 46th minute of play forced Granaderos's goalkeeper Victorio Sein to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 47th minute, Gregorio Argi left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Los Carniceros fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-1. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Válter Proença stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Amerigo Toccaceli struck a weak shot in the 54th minute. Victorio Sein didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Los Carniceros. Amerigo Toccaceli made a well adjusted shot against goal in the 61stth minute coming free in front of the goal, but Victorio Sein would not let the ball come through at any expense and made a nice save by the left post. In the 63rd minute Los Carniceros were awarded a corner. Ernesto Quico went to the cornerflag to take it. In the 67th minute, Marcial Bemabe hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Amerigo Toccaceli fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 69th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Victorio Sein having to interfere. Roberto Giraldo took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Válter Proença, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Roberto Giraldo came out of the goal in the 76th minute to try and stop a shot by Granaderos's Alejo Miro. But to his dismay, Alejo Miro quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-1. After 78 played minutes Los Carniceros got a freekick which was hit by Jorge Vitin. Roberto Giraldo took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Válter Proença, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Válter Proença took the ball and in the 83 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Roberto Giraldo. Roberto Giraldo dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 3-1. If Pablo Huly had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 90th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. A collision led to Los Carniceros getting a freekick after 95 minutes play. Zeledon Orti hit a great ball. Los Carniceros's Amerigo Toccaceli was standing unmarked in front of the goal when he, in the 98th play minute, got the ball and easily drilled it into the goal. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. Granaderos had played much better football throughout.
