After some careless play in the CATALINA F.C defense, Claudio Pirmin kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Emilio Padro. The CATALINA F.C fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Emilio Padro should have stopped the shot. If Claudio Pirmin had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 14th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Hugo Jayvier sent away a hard shot on goal in the 15th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Lomas 's Claudio Pirmin got a good chance for a goal in the 21st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Santo Godoy charged in rather forcefully in the 23rd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Santo Godoy the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Haroldo Kepa received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Emilio Padro came out and tried to block the shot, but Haroldo Kepa slotted it home off the left post making it 3-0 in the 24th minute. Hugo Jayvier recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 30th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The crowd rose to their feet as Lomas 's Hugo Jayvier slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Emilio Padro. That made the score 4-0 after 35 minutes of play. Emilio Padro showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Claudio Pirmin, who was totally free with the ball in the 38th minute. If Claudio Pirmin had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 41st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Claudio Pirmin could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 43rd minute of the match, but Emilio Padro made a huge save. 45 minutes into the game, Lomas 's Haroldo Kepa nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Emilio Padro made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 5-0. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 5-0 at half-time.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Camilo Oroitz to strike the kick off in the second half. 52 minutes into the game, Dalmacio Odon was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. CATALINA F.C's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Lomas the free kick. After a rather tough play, Lomas 's Gabriel Urdaspal got a free kick in the 54th minute. After some fancy dribbling in the 57th minute, Hugo Jayvier managed to get in a good position for a shot. Lomas 's supporters rose to their feet, but Hugo Jayvier was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Emilio Padro breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 72nd minute, Marcelo Pietro got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Emilio Padro took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Claudio Pirmin, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 77th minute, Romulo Cordearo left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Lomas fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 6-0. Nicanor Cordeal hit a great freekick 81 minutes into the match. After having played for 82 minutes, Haroldo Kepa managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Lomas 's supporters crossed their fingers, but Haroldo Kepa was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Claudio Pirmin received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 84th minute. Emilio Padro tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After a defensive mix-up in CATALINA F.C's zone, Gabriel Urdaspal stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Emilio Padro came out of the goal and Gabriel Urdaspal tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Lomas 's Haroldo Kepa pulled a muscle in his leg after 90 minutes and couldn't finish the game. Niceto Obeko's late challenge caught a Lomas 's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Niceto Obeko helped the player get up and apologised. After 91 played minutes CATALINA F.C got a freekick which was hit by Niceto Obeko. Baldomiro Beltxe, 92 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. Emilio Padro stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Julian Iaki's shot from short distance in the 95th minute. Claudio Pirmin fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 96th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Emilio Padro having to interfere. Claudio Pirmin struck a weak shot in the 99th minute. Emilio Padro didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Lomas . Lomas walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
