Justo Mon didn't get a good kick on the ball. 16 minutes into the match, Gilberto Montes had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Celedonio Lastur. INSTITUTO A.C.C.'s manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Gilberto Montes was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-1. Enzo Abajas recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 19th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Dario Cordeara in the 25th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Celedonio Lastur prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Dario Cordeara received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 27th minute. Celedonio Lastur tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Dario Cordeara in the 29th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Celedonio Lastur prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After 32 played minutes San Lorenzo de Almagro got a freekick which was hit by Dario Cordeara. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Enzo Abajas made a kick off. In the 52nd minute, San Lorenzo de Almagro's Dario Cordeara ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Celedonio Lastur. Celedonio Lastur yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 0-2. San Lorenzo de Almagro's Dario Cordeara was standing unmarked in front of the goal when he, in the 58th play minute, got the ball and easily drilled it into the goal. Americo Ponciano showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Enzo Abajas in the 61st minute of the match. Dario Cordeara's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 64thth minute, Celedonio Lastur skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. Alejandro Madeo recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 67th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Alejandro Madeo struck a weak shot in the 72nd minute. Americo Ponciano didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for INSTITUTO A.C.C.. After some careless play in the San Lorenzo de Almagro defense, Enzo Abajas kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Americo Ponciano. The San Lorenzo de Almagro fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Americo Ponciano should have stopped the shot. When San Lorenzo de Almagro's Dario Cordeara in the 79th minute got a chance for a shot 79th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. When the final whistle sounded San Lorenzo de Almagro left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than INSTITUTO A.C.C..
