Bartolo Froylan showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Lucas Peruxu in the 24th minute of the match. Delmar Oriche's late challenge caught a Concepción's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Delmar Oriche helped the player get up and apologised. In the 27th match minute, Quenomá was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Delmar Oriche to maneuver through the defense. 29 minutes into the match, Francisco Basajaun notched a goal, 3-0, to the right of Quenomá's Bartolo Froylan. Robustiano Macerio fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 67th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Martin Ovando having to interfere. The audience thought a goal was coming when Robustiano Macerio got free with Martin Ovando in the 69th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 70th minute Ricardo Florian shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Martin Ovando saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line.
