The audience thought a goal was coming when Fernando Patrido got free with Tymoteusz Cupial in the 17th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Silvano Ipar kicked well hit freekick during the 21st minute of the match. With 26 minutes on the clock, Baltasar Eleder commited a dangerous tackle. The referee had no choice but to show him the red card. A collision led to deportivo paraguayo getting a freekick after 26 minutes play. Baltasar Eleder hit a great ball. Bonifacio Cordarrel recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 27th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The supporters of Mazatlán CF booed when deportivo paraguayo was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 29 match minutes in a wonderful position. Cayetano Galindo didn't get a good kick on the ball. Tymoteusz Cupial showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Bonifacio Cordarrel, who was totally free with the ball in the 32nd minute. In the 36th minute, Mazatlán CF's Fernando Patrido dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 3-0. Fernando Patrido hit a great freekick 40 minutes into the match. Tymoteusz Cupial showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Bonifacio Cordarrel, who was totally free with the ball in the 46th minute. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 3-0.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Anastasio Duardo to make the kick off. Teofilo Guillen showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Anastasio Duardo in the 53rd minute of the match. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Bonifacio Cordarrel in the 56th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Tymoteusz Cupial prevented the ball from getting in the gole. The throw-in from Anastasio Duardo in the 58th minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by Mazatlán CF's Jaime Orzaize. Bonifacio Cordarrel took the ball and in the 62 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Tymoteusz Cupial. Tymoteusz Cupial dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 4-0. 68 minutes into the match, deportivo paraguayo's goal looked a bit too open when Bonifacio Cordarrel came free, but Tymoteusz Cupial reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. A sloppy throw-in by Clodoveo Vellito in the 70th minute of the game went astray and was snapped up by Mazatlán CF's Fernando Patrido. If Anastasio Duardo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 76th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The supporters of deportivo paraguayo booed when Mazatlán CF was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 78 match minutes in a wonderful position. Bonifacio Cordarrel didn't get a good kick on the ball. If Clodoveo Vellito had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 80th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Leo Satordi kicked well hit freekick during the 82nd minute of the match. After 84 played minutes Mazatlán CF got a freekick which was hit by Ulises Leheren. In the 88th minute, Ulises Leheren ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Tymoteusz Cupial was frozen by the shot and now it was 5-0.
