Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Gualterio Cai started the match with the kick off. In the 5th minute, Mario Bernad hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Timurhan Aydinalp took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Fernando Patrido, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 10 minutes into the match, Mazatlán CF's Fernando Patrido sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Timurhan Aydinalp narrowly saved just below the crossbar. After a rather tough play, Mazatlán CF's Marciano Belasko got a free kick in the 12th minute. After 14 minutes, Bonifacio Cordarrel mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Mazatlán CF and the Club Penacho Azul players grew even worse after the yellow card. Bonifacio Cordarrel kicked well hit freekick during the 14th minute of the match. After a rather tough play, Mazatlán CF's Gervasio Quinten got a free kick in the 19th minute. Fernando Patrido received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 23rd minute. Timurhan Aydinalp tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After a rather tough play, Club Penacho Azul's Mario Bernad got a free kick in the 24th minute. When the match had gone on for 29 minutes, Fernando Patrido put it in 0-1 from a short distance just to the right of Timurhan Aydinalp. After 32 played minutes Mazatlán CF got a freekick which was hit by Gervasio Quinten. 36 minutes into the game, Gualterio Cai was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Club Penacho Azul's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Mazatlán CF the free kick. Gualterio Cai hit a great freekick 36 minutes into the match. Fernando Patrido took the ball and in the 38 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Timurhan Aydinalp. Timurhan Aydinalp dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-2. 47 minutes into the match, Club Penacho Azul's goal looked a bit too open when Marciano Belasko came free, but Timurhan Aydinalp reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 48 played minutes Club Penacho Azul got a freekick which was hit by Gualterio Cai. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-2 lead.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Bonifacio Cordarrel stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. In the 53rd minute, Victorio Videl hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 56th minute, Silvano Ipar hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 57th minute, Club Penacho Azul's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Marciano Belasko fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. 62 minutes into the match, Jaime Orzaize dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Timurhan Aydinalp, 0-3. Fernando Patrido recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 66th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 70th minute Fernando Patrido shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Timurhan Aydinalp saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Fernando Patrido in the 70th minute of play forced Club Penacho Azul's goalkeeper Timurhan Aydinalp to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The supporters of Club Penacho Azul booed when Mazatlán CF was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 77 match minutes in a wonderful position. Marciano Belasko didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 78th minute, Marciano Belasko hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Marciano Belasko blasted a shot towards the goal in the 83rd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Timurhan Aydinalp having to make a save. Mazatlán CF made a substitution. Ulises Leheren replaced Bonifacio Cordarrel. Timurhan Aydinalp made an important save on a dangerous shot by Ulises Leheren in the 87th minute. Aldo Obano charged in rather forcefully in the 89th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Aldo Obano the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Aldo Obano hit a great freekick 93 minutes into the match. If Jaime Orzaize had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 95th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 97 minutes into the match, Club Penacho Azul's goal looked a bit too open when Ulises Leheren came free, but Timurhan Aydinalp reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When the final whistle sounded Mazatlán CF left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Club Penacho Azul.
