Justo Lohitzun showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Amado Dalmai, who was totally free with the ball in the 19th minute. 1-0 became the score in the 20th minute when Braulio Leoncio elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. Adan Esdras sent away a hard shot on goal in the 23rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 28th minute of the match, Braulio Leoncio tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Marcos Bilintx saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. When Jacinto Richie came up free with the goalie in the 32nd minute, the Tamberías fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Jacinto Richie couldn't finish the play. Everyone was convinced a goal was close when Caspichango's Braulio Leoncio in the 34th minute lifted the ball towards the upper right corner, but Marcos Bilintx was perfectly placed and prevented a goal for Tamberías through an amazing save. Tamberías's Marcos Bilintx proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 41st minute of the match, managed to save Tamberías from getting a goal against them. After having played for 42 minutes, Braulio Leoncio managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Caspichango's supporters crossed their fingers, but Braulio Leoncio was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Adan Esdras in the 45th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Justo Lohitzun saved Caspichango from getting behind.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Clemente Basajaun stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Silvestre Bernat sent away a hard shot on goal in the 51st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Tamberías's attentive Edgard Mundo managed to snatch the ball when Isidoro Garin made a throw-in in the 54th minute of the game. Amado Dalmai could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 55th minute of the match, but Justo Lohitzun made a huge save. Gavino Tuste got his second yellow card in the match during the 65th minute which meant that he had to leave the ground. In the 66th match minute, Caspichango was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Gavino Tuste to maneuver through the defense. In the 67th minute Adan Esdras shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Justo Lohitzun saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Adan Esdras received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 70th minute. Justo Lohitzun tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The supporters of Caspichango booed when Tamberías was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 75 match minutes in a wonderful position. Amado Dalmai didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 77 minutes of play, Caspichango's Clemente Basajaun made it 3-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Marcos Bilintx was left in no man's land by his defense there! In the 80th minute, Clemente Basajaun left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Caspichango fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 4-0. If Adan Esdras had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 83rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Justo Lohitzun made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Adan Esdras in the 83rd minute of play. Justo Lohitzun stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Adan Esdras's shot from short distance in the 84th minute. When Cristian Lia fell near the penalty area in the 87th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Caspichango's protests and gave Cristian Lia a yellow card for diving instead. In the 88th minute, Cristian Lia hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Justo Lohitzun made an important save on a dangerous shot by Amado Dalmai in the 91st minute. Braulio Leoncio kicked well hit freekick during the 92nd minute of the match. Adan Esdras sent away a hard shot on goal in the 93rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Justo Lohitzun made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Adan Esdras in the 95th minute of play. Caspichango were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest.
