He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Deportivo Vasco reached it. Narciso Santio took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Urtun Mera, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 17th minute Angelo Lartaun shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Roberto Paulin saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Edgard Burni fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 22nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Roberto Paulin having to interfere. Roberto Paulin took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Angelo Lartaun, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Deportivo Vasco's Roberto Paulin played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Angelo Lartaun in the 28th minute of play. In the 29th minute Robert Tobaczewski shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Narciso Santio saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Narciso Santio made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Robert Tobaczewski in the 34th minute of play. After a rather tough play, Defensores de Coglhan's Zacarias Lucero got a free kick in the 35th minute. The supporters of Deportivo Vasco booed when Defensores de Coglhan was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 38 match minutes in a wonderful position. Edgard Burni didn't get a good kick on the ball. If Angelo Lartaun had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 44th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Roberto Paulin showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Angelo Lartaun, who was totally free with the ball in the 47th minute. The score stood at 0-0 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Edgard Burni to strike the kick off in the second half. 55 minutes into the match, Deportivo Vasco's goal looked a bit too open when Lucio Valente came free, but Roberto Paulin reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Roberto Paulin showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Edgard Burni, who was totally free with the ball in the 67th minute. Lucio Valente recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 69th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Lucio Valente hit a great freekick 70 minutes into the match. 74 minutes into the match, Defensores de Coglhan's goal looked a bit too open when Robert Tobaczewski came free, but Narciso Santio reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 76th minute Angelo Lartaun shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Roberto Paulin saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 77th minute, Edgard Burni hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Edgard Burni received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 81st minute. Roberto Paulin tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Zacarias Lucero hit a great freekick 84 minutes into the match. In the 90th minute Edgard Burni shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Roberto Paulin saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Deportivo Vasco's Roberto Paulin played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Lucio Valente in the 93rd minute of play. After some careless play in the Deportivo Vasco defense, Edgard Burni kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Roberto Paulin. The Deportivo Vasco fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Roberto Paulin should have stopped the shot.
