Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Melchor Harri started the match with the kick off. Cesar Dodorol in the 6thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Prospero Eli, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. Dionisio Kauldi came out of the goal in the 10th minute to try and stop a shot by Dolores's Enrique Mincho. But to his dismay, Enrique Mincho quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. Luciano Abad kicked well hit freekick during the 13th minute of the match. The audience was convinced that Melchor Harri's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Prospero Eli was relentless in the 16th minute of the game. After some fancy dribbling in the 18th minute, Igor Salomone managed to get in a good position for a shot. Dolores's supporters rose to their feet, but Igor Salomone was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Dionisio Kauldi breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. The audience thought a goal was coming when Cesar Dodorol got free with Prospero Eli in the 22nd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 24th minute, Palermo FC's Melchor Harri dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 1-1. In the 28th minute Enrique Mincho shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Dionisio Kauldi saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 33 minutes into the match, Florentino Quinten had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Dionisio Kauldi. Palermo FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Florentino Quinten was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-2. Dolores's Prospero Eli proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 38th minute of the match, managed to save Dolores from getting a goal against them. After the first half Dolores were leading 1-2. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Enrique Mincho to strike the kick off in the second half. Dionisio Kauldi made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Enrique Mincho in the 51st minute of play. After a rather tough play, Palermo FC's Fernando Edorta got a free kick in the 52nd minute. When Palermo FC's Melchor Harri in the 56th minute got a chance for a shot 56th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Dolores's goalie prevented a goal. Melchor Harri received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 57th minute. Prospero Eli tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The supporters of Palermo FC booed when Dolores was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 58 match minutes in a wonderful position. Luciano Abad didn't get a good kick on the ball. Prospero Eli showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Cesar Dodorol, who was totally free with the ball in the 61st minute. When Melchor Harri came up free with the goalie in the 63rd minute, the Palermo FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Melchor Harri couldn't finish the play. Enrique Mincho blasted a shot towards the goal in the 68th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Dionisio Kauldi having to make a save. After 70 played minutes Palermo FC got a freekick which was hit by Jonathan Eate. Prospero Eli took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Adolfo Procopio, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Melchor Harri in the 75th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Prospero Eli prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 77th minute, Palermo FC's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Enrique Mincho fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. In the 82nd minute Cesar Dodorol shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Prospero Eli saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 86 minutes into the game, Jonathan Eate was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Palermo FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Dolores the free kick. Jonathan Eate kicked well hit freekick during the 86th minute of the match. Prospero Eli made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Melchor Harri in the 89th minute of play. The Dolores supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Dolores would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
