Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) Atlético Chilecito's Marcelino Gaur started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. In the 3rd match minute, Atlético Chilecito was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Emanuel Ioritz to maneuver through the defense. Nicolas Acevedo, 4 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. Vinicio Chap received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 5th minute. Desiderio Eliazar tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Desiderio Eliazar took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Domingo Senin, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Leonides Madaleno struck a weak shot in the 11th minute. Desiderio Eliazar didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Apeleg. Leonides Madaleno received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 13th minute. Desiderio Eliazar tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Desiderio Eliazar came out of the goal in the 19th minute to try and stop a shot by Apeleg's Domingo Senin. But to his dismay, Domingo Senin quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-0. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Domingo Senin in the 30th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Desiderio Eliazar prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Desiderio Eliazar made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Domingo Senin in the 35th minute of play. Leonides Madaleno sent away a hard shot on goal in the 37th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Leonides Madaleno had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 42nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a defensive mix-up in Apeleg's zone, Victorio Ritchie stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Serafino Gaskon came out of the goal and Victorio Ritchie tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Aldo Fonda during the 44th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 45th match minute, Apeleg was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Aldo Fonda to maneuver through the defense. Cayetano Ovando received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 48th minute. Serafino Gaskon tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere.
With a couple of smart ball manuevers Leonides Madaleno in the 52nd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Desiderio Eliazar saved Atlético Chilecito from getting behind. An unexpectedly hard shot by Leonides Madaleno in the 56th minute of play forced Atlético Chilecito's goalkeeper Desiderio Eliazar to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Atlético Chilecito's Marcelino Gaur got a good chance for a goal in the 59th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After a defensive mix-up in Apeleg's zone, Marcelino Gaur stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Serafino Gaskon came out of the goal and Marcelino Gaur tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Serafino Gaskon made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Marcelino Gaur in the 67th minute of play. Atlético Chilecito's supporters rose to their feet, but Marcelino Gaur was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Serafino Gaskon breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Victorio Ritchie recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 87th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Leonides Madaleno received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 90th minute. Desiderio Eliazar tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere.
