Tolombón AFC's Isidoro Iliana played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Simon Cerilo in the 34th minute of play. 45 minutes into the match, Club Atlético Murano's goal looked a bit too open when Filiberto Gagriel came free, but Aquilino Nuxila reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Disappointed in the 0-2 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Esteban Benino stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. If Filiberto Gagriel had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 73rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When Filiberto Gagriel fell near the penalty area in the 77th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Tolombón AFC's protests and gave Filiberto Gagriel a yellow card for diving instead. The supporters of Club Atlético Murano booed when Tolombón AFC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 77 match minutes in a wonderful position. Filiberto Gagriel didn't get a good kick on the ball. Aquilino Nuxila made an important save on a dangerous shot by Filiberto Gagriel in the 83rd minute. Esteban Benino received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 89th minute. Aquilino Nuxila tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Tolombón AFC's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
