In the 30thth minute of the game Carolo Gizon who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Talleres De Cba's Vicente Artizar was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. In the 34th minute Nikos Veletzas shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Rodrigo Quirino saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After a rather tough play, Olavarria FC's Niceto Regis got a free kick in the 36th minute. Rodrigo Quirino made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Nikos Veletzas in the 38th minute of play. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Nicasio Padro during the 39th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. The supporters of Talleres De Cba booed when Olavarria FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 39 match minutes in a wonderful position. Nicasio Padro didn't get a good kick on the ball. When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Nicasio Padro made a kick off. Jesus Oliverios made in the 56th minute of the game a fairly good throw-in which was taken care of by Ahmet Korkut Alptekin. In the 56th minute, Adrian Luke hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Flavio Lawrence was astounded when the referee showed him the red card after a seemingly innocent challenge, 60 minutes into the match. After 59 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Talleres De Cba! In the 62nd minute there was a penalty for Olavarria FC. Genaro Presebal stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Vicente Artizar. 1-2. Adrian Luke could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 65th minute of the match, but Rodrigo Quirino made a huge save. After some careless play in the Olavarria FC defense, Nikos Veletzas kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Rodrigo Quirino. The Olavarria FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Rodrigo Quirino should have stopped the shot. Niceto Regis fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 69th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Vicente Artizar having to interfere. The supporters of Talleres De Cba booed when Olavarria FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 71 match minutes in a wonderful position. Jesus Millano didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 72 played minutes Olavarria FC got a freekick which was hit by Nicasio Padro. Rodrigo Quirino made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Nikos Veletzas in the 74th minute of play. Carolo Gizon's late challenge caught a Talleres De Cba's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Carolo Gizon helped the player get up and apologised. After 77 played minutes Olavarria FC got a freekick which was hit by Carolo Gizon. In the 80th minute, Talleres De Cba's Nikos Veletzas ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Rodrigo Quirino. Rodrigo Quirino yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-4. After having played for 85 minutes, Cleto Luzea managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Talleres De Cba's supporters crossed their fingers, but Cleto Luzea was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Adrian Luke in the 89th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Rodrigo Quirino saved Olavarria FC from getting behind. Niceto Regis sent away a hard shot on goal in the 92nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Chatziioannou Agathiou kicked well hit freekick during the 93rd minute of the match. Talleres De Cba's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
