After a defensive mix-up in Matará's zone, Alberto Birila stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Octavio Blai came out of the goal and Alberto Birila tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. If Haroldo Mirande had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 10th minute. Alberto Birila fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 13th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Octavio Blai having to interfere. Octavio Blai took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Albano Bingen, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Alberto Birila received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 16th minute. Octavio Blai tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 34thth minute of the game Albano Bingen who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Matará's Octavio Blai was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Osvaldo Ixidor kicked well hit freekick during the 41st minute of the match. Albano Bingen sent away a hard shot on goal in the 43rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. The wind increased when Albano Bingen made the kick off in the second half. The supporters of Matará booed when Guiñazú AFC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 51 match minutes in a wonderful position. Alberto Birila didn't get a good kick on the ball. Pastor Isias showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Agustin Gaskon in the 52nd minute of the match. After having played for 56 minutes, Albano Bingen managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Guiñazú AFC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Albano Bingen was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 59th match minute, Guiñazú AFC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Alberto Birila to maneuver through the defense. In the 63rdth minute of the game Haroldo Mirande who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Guiñazú AFC's Pastor Isias was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. With an all-out effort, Guiñazú AFC's Octavio Blai threw himself towards the right post 68 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Albano Bingen, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. Elpidio Fonso fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 69th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Octavio Blai having to interfere. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Albano Bingen in the 71st managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Octavio Blai saved Matará from getting behind. If Albano Bingen had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 75th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When Guiñazú AFC's Albano Bingen in the 79th minute got a chance for a shot 79th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Matará's goalie prevented a goal. If Alberto Birila had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 80th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Gaston Guillem hit a great freekick 89 minutes into the match. Alberto Birila, 90 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. Albano Bingen sent away a hard shot on goal in the 91st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Despite being the better team, Guiñazú AFC failed to find the winning goal and were forced to settle for a single point.
