Sapallo's defense didn't have a chance, in the 4th minute, when Haroldo Mirande scored to the left of an out of position Abelardo Soin, making the score, 1-0. Octavio Blai showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Bernardo Baldovino in the 7th minute of the match. 11 minutes into the game, one of Matará:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. In the 25th minute, Isidoro Innocenzio ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Octavio Blai was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-3. 30 minutes into the game, Rolando Frederico cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-4. Octavio Blai was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. In the 33rd minute, Horacio Omero got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Octavio Blai showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Isidoro Innocenzio in the 35th minute of the match. 37 minutes into the game, Norberto Jerico cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-5. Octavio Blai was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Octavio Blai made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Bernardo Baldovino in the 43rd minute of play. In the 45th minute, Ciro Bartoli ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Octavio Blai was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-6.

In the 52nd minute Rolando Frederico shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Octavio Blai saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 55 minutes into the match, Sapallo's goal looked a bit too open when Osvaldo Ixidor came free, but Abelardo Soin reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Matará's Octavio Blai played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Isidoro Innocenzio in the 57th minute of play. 58 minutes into the match, Bernardo Baldovino dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Octavio Blai, 1-7. A collision led to Matará getting a freekick after 61 minutes play. Osvaldo Ixidor hit a great ball. Bernardo Baldovino could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 63rd minute of the match, but Octavio Blai made a huge save. Emanuel Anton's late challenge caught a Sapallo's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Emanuel Anton helped the player get up and apologised. Sapallo made a substitution. Maximino Orlan replaced Norberto Jerico. Horacio Omero could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 67th minute of the match, but Octavio Blai made a huge save. 75 minutes into the match, Matará's goal looked a bit too open when Isidoro Innocenzio came free, but Octavio Blai reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Abelardo Soin took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Haroldo Mirande, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Matará's Haroldo Mirande got a good chance for a goal in the 85th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. An unexpectedly hard shot by Emanuel Anton in the 87th minute of play forced Sapallo's goalkeeper Abelardo Soin to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Abelardo Soin showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Osvaldo Ixidor in the 88th minute of the match. Octavio Blai made a fantastic save in the 90th minute, when Horacio Omero sent off a good shot on target. An unexpectedly hard shot by Bernardo Baldovino in the 92nd minute of play forced Matará's goalkeeper Octavio Blai to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When the match was over Sapallo could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Matará throughout the match.
