In the 8th match minute, Puestito AFC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Elvio Oihenarte to maneuver through the defense. When the match had gone on for 10 minutes, Bruno Lawrence put it in 0-1 from a short distance just to the right of Generoso Beti. Andres Dei charged in rather forcefully in the 15th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Andres Dei the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Andres Dei hit a great freekick 15 minutes into the match. Fausto Ticho received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 17th minute. Reynaldo Curcio tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Marcial Aztore sent away a hard shot on goal in the 19th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Elvio Oihenarte hit a great freekick 20 minutes into the match. When Marcial Aztore came up free with the goalie in the 22nd minute, the Deseado FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Marcial Aztore couldn't finish the play. Fausto Ticho fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 25th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Reynaldo Curcio having to interfere. In the 34th minute, Felipe Abaunza hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 36 minutes into the match, Puestito AFC's goal looked a bit too open when Bruno Lawrence came free, but Generoso Beti reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Bruno Lawrence fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 37th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Generoso Beti having to interfere. Generoso Beti stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Bruno Lawrence's shot from short distance in the 41st minute. With his leg Reynaldo Curcio managed to avoid a goal in the 43rdth minute, when Puestito AFC's Saul Vermudo fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Reynaldo Curcio was a little too slow when Saul Vermudo got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 46th minute. The score was now 1-1. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Saul Vermudo made a kick off. The supporters of Puestito AFC booed when Deseado FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 52 match minutes in a wonderful position. Emil Abraham didn't get a good kick on the ball. Reynaldo Curcio made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Alejo Rocio in the 56th minute of play. Alejo Rocio struck a weak shot in the 58th minute. Reynaldo Curcio didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Puestito AFC. In the 66th minute, Marcial Aztore got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. When Elvio Oihenarte fell near the penalty area in the 68th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Puestito AFC's protests and gave Elvio Oihenarte a yellow card for diving instead. Deseado FC's Ovidio Mincho was substituted for Dario Chico. The supporters of Deseado FC booed when Puestito AFC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 70 match minutes in a wonderful position. Elvio Oihenarte didn't get a good kick on the ball. Reynaldo Curcio showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Saul Vermudo in the 71st minute of the match. Generoso Beti showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Marcial Aztore, who was totally free with the ball in the 81st minute. 83 minutes into the game, Bruno Lawrence lined in a short shot 1-2 behind a frustrated Generoso Beti. In the 92nd minute Fausto Ticho shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Reynaldo Curcio saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Bruno Lawrence struck a weak shot in the 95th minute. Generoso Beti didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Deseado FC.
