After a rather tough play, As Roma's Justo Roldan got a free kick in the 13th minute. After 19 minutes of play, tofiori's Justo Mederi made it 0-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Laureano Olayo was left in no man's land by his defense there! Laureano Olayo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Celestino Maju in the 22nd minute of play. The supporters of tofiori booed when As Roma was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 44 match minutes in a wonderful position. Fulgencio Danel didn't get a good kick on the ball. A nice corner shot did that Justo Mederi got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Laureano Olayo quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-1 lead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Justo Roldan to make the kick off. In the 51st minute the ball was on its way in behind As Roma's goalkeeper Laureano Olayo, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Marcelo Galo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ariel Orlan in the 68th minute of the match. Casimiro Jakes kicked well hit freekick during the 71st minute of the match. When Justo Roldan fell near the penalty area in the 73rd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored As Roma's protests and gave Justo Roldan a yellow card for diving instead. In the 79th minute, Gil Penha got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Fulgencio Danel during the 81st minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Fulgencio Danel hit a great freekick 81 minutes into the match. After 86 played minutes tofiori got a freekick which was hit by Ambrosio Azubeli. Melquiades Roldan charged in rather forcefully in the 87th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Melquiades Roldan the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. 86 minutes into the game, one of tofiori:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. Cornelio Silvino hit a great freekick 90 minutes into the match. Laureano Olayo made a fantastic save in the 92nd minute, when Celestino Maju sent off a good shot on target. After having played for 97 minutes, Gil Penha managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. As Roma's supporters crossed their fingers, but Gil Penha was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. As Roma were clearly unhappy with the draw, as they felt they had done enough to earn themselves a victory.
