Teofilo Lapurdi received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 3rd minute. Patricio Gustau tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Jacobo Mergildo might have been able to make a better finish in the 6th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Sixto Beltza. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Jacobo Mergildo ran back to his position shaking his head. 8 minutes into the game, Primitivo Bonadona was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Campana's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Swansea City FC the free kick. Sixto Beltza was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Mariano Lorien kicked well hit freekick during the 15th minute of the match. Primitivo Bonadona struck a weak shot in the 16th minute. Sixto Beltza didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Campana. In the 18th minute, Primitivo Bonadona left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Campana fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-0. In the 21st minute Teofilo Lapurdi shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Patricio Gustau saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 27 played minutes Campana got a freekick which was hit by Feliberto Gombal. Swansea City FC's Marco Aurre got a good chance for a goal in the 28th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 29th minute, Alonzo Gombal hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Patricio Gustau didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Feliciano Argi went, in the 31st minute, to the upper right corner, 2-1 was the resulting score. Sixto Beltza stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Primitivo Bonadona's shot from short distance in the 72nd minute. The supporters of Swansea City FC booed when Campana was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 85 match minutes in a wonderful position. Alonzo Gombal didn't get a good kick on the ball. Feliciano Argi sent away a hard shot on goal in the 86th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Alfredo Michael charged in rather forcefully in the 88th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. For all the effort they put into the match, the Swansea City FC players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Campana.
