Desiderio Stephen was slow to take the kick. During this time Club Atletico Belgrano's players had a chance to rest. The corner led Club Atletico Belgrano's Desiderio Stephen to fire away a dangerous shot which Aurelio Millano despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. If Igor Venerando had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 18th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 20 minutes into the match, Cezary Frankowski notched a goal, 2-0, to the right of Calahorra's Aurelio Millano. Aurelio Millano was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. In the 23rd minute, Cezary Frankowski got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Aurelio Millano was a little too slow when Igor Venerando got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 26th minute. The score was now 3-0. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Cezary Frankowski in the 42nd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Aurelio Millano saved Calahorra from getting behind. In the 43rd minute, one of Calahorra:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Calahorra. Af the end of the first half the score was 4-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Cezary Frankowski to strike the kick off in the second half. Aurelio Millano came out of the goal in the 53rd minute to try and stop a shot by Club Atletico Belgrano's Cezary Frankowski.
