The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Constantino Cordairo during the 4th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 4th match minute, DEPORTIVO MASAVI was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Constantino Cordairo to maneuver through the defense. An unexpectedly hard shot by Américo Galvão in the 20th minute of play forced Yatay FC's goalkeeper Niceto Ralondo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Américo Galvão in the 21st managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Niceto Ralondo saved Yatay FC from getting behind. Américo Galvão sent away a hard shot on goal in the 25th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Ciro Abad could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 27th minute of the match, but Niceto Ralondo made a huge save. DEPORTIVO MASAVI's Leonides Bordat played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Melchor Beltran in the 28th minute of play. A collision led to DEPORTIVO MASAVI getting a freekick after 36 minutes play. Constantino Cordairo hit a great ball. After having played for 40 minutes, Ciro Abad managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. DEPORTIVO MASAVI's supporters crossed their fingers, but Ciro Abad was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Melchor Beltran in the 42nd minute of play forced DEPORTIVO MASAVI's goalkeeper Leonides Bordat to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Leonides Bordat came out of the goal in the 48th minute to try and stop a shot by Yatay FC's Melchor Beltran. But to his dismay, Melchor Beltran quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-1. The score stood at 1-1 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

Leonides Bordat showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Melchor Beltran, who was totally free with the ball in the 55th minute. DEPORTIVO MASAVI's Leonides Bordat played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Melchor Beltran in the 58th minute of play. Melchor Beltran had several of the DEPORTIVO MASAVI's defenders around him in the penalty area when he, after 60 minutes of play, received a pass and succeeded in some way to shoot a shot which went straight ahead into goal. This resulted in a 1-2 score and a disappointed Leonides Bordat as he didn't even see the shot coming. In the 64th minute Pedro Estebano shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Niceto Ralondo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 65 minutes into the game, Urbano Hermelando recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Leonides Bordat. Urbano Hermelando showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-3. Niceto Ralondo stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Ciro Abad's shot from short distance in the 71st minute. 79 minutes into the match, DEPORTIVO MASAVI's goalkeeper Leonides Bordat had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Amancio Torres. Leonides Bordat took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Melchor Beltran, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Ciro Abad sent away a hard shot on goal in the 82nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance.
