Sabit Paksu's late challenge caught a Ciudadela AFC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Sabit Paksu helped the player get up and apologised. Anderson Antunes made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Silviu Teodorescu in the 20th minute of play. After some careless play in the Azcurra FC defense, Sterling Leclerc kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Anderson Antunes. The Azcurra FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Anderson Antunes should have stopped the shot. With a little luck, Azcurra FC's Anderson Antunes got control of the ball when Sterling Leclerc tried to sneak it across the goal line.
