But to his dismay, Diego Martinelli quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-0. Valdir Correia hit a great freekick 5 minutes into the match. The supporters of Walt booed when Oriental was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 6 match minutes in a wonderful position. Basilio Firme didn't get a good kick on the ball. Lucas Tiso came out of the goal in the 8th minute to try and stop a shot by Walt's Valdir Correia. But to his dismay, Valdir Correia quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-0. If Diego Martinelli had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 12th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Freddy Artaldo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 14th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 16 minutes into the game, Oriental's Bruno Ibañez nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Enrique Madaleno made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-1. After some fancy dribbling in the 24th minute, Bruno Ibañez managed to get in a good position for a shot. Oriental's supporters rose to their feet, but Bruno Ibañez was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Enrique Madaleno breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 27th minute Bruno Ibañez shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Enrique Madaleno saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Severo Crispo in the 28th minute of play forced Walt's goalkeeper Enrique Madaleno to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Bruno Txomin hit a great freekick 29 minutes into the match. Enrique Madaleno showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Bruno Ibañez in the 30th minute of the match. 32 minutes into the match, Walt's goal looked a bit too open when Bruno Ibañez came free, but Enrique Madaleno reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 34th minute, Anacleto Jerardo hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 37 minutes into the game, Oriental's Severo Crispo nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Enrique Madaleno made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-2. When Valdir Correia came up free with the goalie in the 40th minute, the Walt fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Valdir Correia couldn't finish the play. Severo Crispo kicked well hit freekick during the 43rd minute of the match. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.
Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Valdir Correia to make the kick off. Lucas Tiso showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Diego Martinelli in the 55th minute of the match. 57 minutes into the match, Valdir Correia notched a goal, 3-2, to the right of Oriental's Lucas Tiso. Lucas Tiso was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Lucas Tiso showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Diego Martinelli, who was totally free with the ball in the 62nd minute. In the 64th minute, Valdir Correia got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. When Walt's Valdir Correia in the 65th minute got a chance for a shot 65th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Oriental's goalie prevented a goal. In the 66th match minute, Walt was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Remigio Sustrai to maneuver through the defense. If Basilio Firme had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 68th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Lucas Tiso took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Valdir Correia, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After some fancy dribbling in the 75th minute, Basilio Firme managed to get in a good position for a shot. Oriental's supporters rose to their feet, but Basilio Firme was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Enrique Madaleno breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Basilio Firme charged in rather forcefully in the 76th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Basilio Firme the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Basilio Firme kicked well hit freekick during the 76th minute of the match. In the 79th minute, Claudio Valery hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 82 minutes into the match, Bruno Ibañez dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Enrique Madaleno, 3-3. Walt's Enrique Madaleno played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Bruno Ibañez in the 86th minute of play. After a rather tough play, Walt's Teodoro Firmin got a free kick in the 89th minute. Diego Martinelli fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 91st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Lucas Tiso having to interfere. 93 minutes into the game, Valdir Correia cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 4-3. Lucas Tiso was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. The home crowd let out a huge roar when the referee blew for the end of the game. Walt were victorious despite being under pressure from Oriental for much of the match.
