The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 18th minute, Metal Works's Mauro Petri dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 1-1. Escoceses's Haroldo Benet played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Paolo Xabel in the 21st minute of play. Haroldo Benet made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Paolo Xabel in the 23rd minute of play. It was beautiful to see Metal Works's Cecilio George in action when he in the 29th minute dribbled his way through a couple of opponents and the fired away a shot from almost standing still. First the ball seemed to get in, but turned out to be on the outside of the net. A great chance! In the 31st match minute, Escoceses was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Arnaldo Estevon to maneuver through the defense. 38 minutes into the game, Cristobal Chus was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Metal Works's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Escoceses the free kick. In the 39th match minute, Metal Works was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Cristobal Chus to maneuver through the defense. After having played for 44 minutes, Segundo Checa managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Metal Works's supporters crossed their fingers, but Segundo Checa was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 2-1.

Haroldo Benet took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Segundo Checa, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The audience was convinced that Segundo Checa's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Haroldo Benet was relentless in the 63rd minute of the game. After 66 minutes of play, Metal Works's Mauro Petri made it 4-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Haroldo Benet was left in no man's land by his defense there! After a rather tough play, Metal Works's Segundo Checa got a free kick in the 69th minute. If Segundo Checa had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 71st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 75 minutes into the match, Metal Works's goalkeeper Omar Betadur had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Sixto Dino. Cristobal Chus took the ball and in the 76 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Haroldo Benet. Haroldo Benet dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 5-1. Haroldo Benet showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Segundo Checa in the 80th minute of the match. In the 86th minute, Arnaldo Estevon hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Haroldo Benet showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Segundo Checa, who was totally free with the ball in the 93rd minute. Haroldo Benet showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Segundo Checa in the 95th minute of the match. In the 97th minute Mauro Petri shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Haroldo Benet saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line.
