The audience thought a goal was coming when Clemente Chesus got free with Isidoro Gagriel in the 3rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 7th minute, Prudencio Beltza hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 8 minutes into the match, Clemente Chesus dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Isidoro Gagriel, 1-0. 12 minutes into the match, Patay's goal looked a bit too open when Serafino Juvenal came free, but Casimiro Bikendi reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Clemente Chesus blasted a shot towards the goal in the 15th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Isidoro Gagriel having to make a save. An unexpectedly hard shot by Leandro Kusko in the 17th minute of play forced Club General Guido's goalkeeper Isidoro Gagriel to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 17 minutes, Anastasio Urtsua mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Patay and the Club General Guido players grew even worse after the yellow card. When Clemente Chesus came up free with the goalie in the 20th minute, the Patay fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Clemente Chesus couldn't finish the play. Casimiro Bikendi showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Marcial Clementi, who was totally free with the ball in the 21st minute. After 31 played minutes Club General Guido got a freekick which was hit by Donato Txerran. Donato Txerran's late challenge caught a Patay's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Donato Txerran helped the player get up and apologised. The supporters of Patay booed when Club General Guido was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 35 match minutes in a wonderful position. Donato Txerran didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 36th minute Leandro Kusko shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Isidoro Gagriel saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 40 minutes into the match, Club General Guido's goalkeeper Isidoro Gagriel had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Clemente Chesus. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Eliseo Jusepe during the 42nd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 42nd match minute, Club General Guido was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Eliseo Jusepe to maneuver through the defense. In the 43rd minute of the match, Clemente Chesus got a very nice opportunity to score, but Isidoro Gagriel was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Leandro Kusko was the one to do the kick off. Marcial Clementi sent away a hard shot on goal in the 54th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Isidoro Gagriel made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Clemente Chesus in the 58th minute of play. The supporters of Club General Guido booed when Patay was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 61 match minutes in a wonderful position. Dante Nastasio didn't get a good kick on the ball. After having played for 65 minutes, Clemente Chesus managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Patay's supporters crossed their fingers, but Clemente Chesus was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Isidoro Gagriel stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Leandro Kusko's shot from short distance in the 69th minute. In the 78th minute, Geronimo Dei got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Isidoro Gagriel showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Leandro Kusko, who was totally free with the ball in the 81st minute. Isidoro Gagriel made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Leandro Kusko in the 84th minute of play.
